CRISL being the first internationally recognized domestic credit rating agency in the country and founder member of Association of Credit Rating Agency in Asia (ACRAA) has been providing rating services since 2002 after being licensed by Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC). As a rating agency CRISL fully complies with respective country regulations which include Credit Rating Companies Rules 1996 of BSEC and External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) recognition criteria of BB in line with Basel III under Standardized approach. Apart from local regulations CRISL is also pledged-bound to comply with International Organization of Securities Commission (IOSCO) code of conduct for credit rating agency.
